Last year during my frequent visits to Wisconsin, I was particularly aware of spring green because Kathy enjoyed it so much. Sacramento shines in April, too, with green lawns, new leaves, dogwoods and azaleas. California countryside is still green and there are wildflowers along the roadsides. A lovely essay, Tom.
